Jordan Abshire is the founder and managing member of Abshire Legal Search, established in 2012.  Jordan is the current V.P. of Strategic Planning for the National Association of Legal Search Consultants' Board of Directors.  Jordan has counseled countless partners with books of business ranging from 6 figures to 8 figures on getting a better deal at their current firm, assessing their value in the marketplace, and/or making a career-enhancing move.    

Before founding his firm, Jordan was a Principal at Lateral Link, managing the D.C. and Southeast markets. He previously practiced law with the energy group at Troutman Sanders LLP and clerked for Judge Henry Coke Morgan, Jr., in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Jordan holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and dual B.S. and B.A. degrees from Louisiana State University.

A Louisiana native now residing in Charlotte with his family, Jordan is dedicated to community service. He has volunteered at Roof Above, assisting men experiencing homelessness with resumes and job applications. He served on its board from 2017-2021 and launched and led Fortitude, a fitness initiative for Shelter Guests through F3.
